Addison is located in northern Texas and is considered a northern suburb of Dallas. As of 2007, the population of Addison was nearly 14,000. In the summer, the temperatures range from the high 80s and 90s, and in the winter, the temperature will tend to be in the 40s.

Just north of Dallas and Fort Worth lies a world of spectacular golfing in Lewisville. Several courses offer 18 holes of championship-caliber golf, including the hardwood tree-lined Golf Club at Castle hill and Lake Park Golf Course, which comes complete with a 4,500-square-foot club house.
